According to live recordings that have circulated for years, a concert took place in Chicago on Dec. 8, 1974. However, I have been unable to find any contemporaneous confirmation. That doesn't necessarily mean it didn't take place, but I would expect something to have appeared in newspapers from the time. So I regard this date as suspect, even though Columbia has issued some tracks from a live recording that it claims took place in Chicago on Dec. 8.
